Long time, no blog...

For those who aren't aware, I have been super busy with the new ministry we are on the board for here in Charlotte called Cities4Life! I have been one crazy-busy woman, between being a wife, homeschooling, our usual family ministry at abortion mills and now...Cities4Life. is good and is now becoming more manageable again!

We recently had a wonderful family time at a local homeschool convention in Spartanburg, SC where I was finally able to sit down and look at Teaching Textbooks. After Mark and I played around with the algebra 1 CD-ROM program at the booth, we decided to take the plunge and buy it for Kaitlyn and Ethan to start immediately! Oh my goodness! I LOVE IT! Yes, it's only day #3 on it. BUT...they love it and it does all (and I mean, ALL) the thinking, teaching, and even grading for me. I am now going to test the other children to see where they place and if I can find some used CD-ROMS on their level! This is awesome!

I look forward to blogging more again soon! It's good to be back!

I am praying Teaching Textbooks Algebra 2 with the automatic gradebook will be available by fall. It sounds like you'll need it soon, too!

I enjoy Teaching Textbooks for my kids. We started with Math 3 and are now on Math 5. The children do it without much complaint at all and I love that I can see which problem they missed, what their answer was, and if they viewed the solution given on the disks. GREAT program! Glad to hear the Algebra looks good as well!
